Foundation Stage
The Foundation stage at St James offers a broad, balanced curriculum where all seven areas of learning are covered equally through play, talk and exploration. These are appropriate to the age, stage and development of the child.
The environment is warm, caring and inclusive, where all children, staff and parents/carers feel welcome and valued.
The setting offers an attractive and stimulating environment inside and outside, with free-flow play available for much of the session.
