Late Arrival:

Children should not be sent in late for personal events or parent work commitments.

Routine appointments should be made outside of school hours. 

• Please send an email before 8.30am to Info@st-james.richmond.sch.uk.

  • Reason for early collection
  • Supporting evidence of the appointment (this can be a text message or screen shot of the apt.).

Requesting Early Collection:

Children should not be collected early for personal events or parent work commitments.

Routine appointments should be made outside of school hours.

  • Supporting evidence of the appointment (this can be a text message or screen shot of the apt.).

• The school may encounter delays collecting your child, children should be collected a minimum of at least 1 hour before the appointment time (factoring in travel time).

• If the school has received a high volume of early requests for that morning or afternoon. You may be contacted for an alternate collection time,  Typically you will be requested to collect your child at noon. This is to collate the requests to set times, to minimise disruption to other children's class room learning.  

• We always advise children to go straight to an appointment if it is before 11.00am.

Changes to last minute collection arrangements after 2.30pm:

If there is a last minute change to your child's collection arrangments (from 2.30pm onwards), please call the school office first: 0208 744 8860.

Please state your child's name, class and the outline the change in the arrangement (for example you are running late and estimated time of arrival).

If you are providing a different set of instructions for your child concerning their collection (change in adult collection or change in arrangements) , please provide a follow-up email.
