Pope Francis, Laudato Si'

Inspired by the teachings of the Church, and Pope Francis' letter to all of humanity Laudato Si, St James's pupils have set up their own Eco Team. 

The Eco-team meet every week with Mr Lawless to discuss, plan and action new eco-initiatives they can carry out around the school and the local community. The Eco-team discuss important topics discussed by the elected Pupil council with the idea they can put their words into action in small ways in their local community. The Eco-team goal is to reduce the school’s impact on climate change in any way possible, create initiatives which will help the environment and endeavour to be leaders.
