Wrap Around Care Provision
Who is eligible for wrap around care?
- Current St James's pupils in Reception through to Year 6.
- (StJ Extra wrap aournd care will not be available for St James's nursery children).
How do I book wrap around care?
If you have been unsuccessful in securing wrap around care for the term but still require StJ Extra sessions and/or you are a new requestor. Please complete the attached link:
Medical Form Completion Requirement:
If your child has a medical condition or allergy, this must be completed before your child starts StJ Extra wrap around care.
Terms and Conditions Requirement:
Please complete and return the attached terms and conditions before your child starts SJ Extra wrap around care.

Dear Parents,
Wrap Around Care - September 2024 For many years, Strawberry Hill Club has delivered wrap around provision on our school site. Over time, Strawberry Hill Club has expanded, not only at St James’s but across different schools in the local area. Last summer, St James’s met with the owner of Strawberry Hill Club, Lisa Neagle. We informed her that we wanted to expand our wrap around provision. After careful consideration, Lisa determined that expanding the St James’s provision was not right for her business and suggested that the school may wish to consider the option of taking the provision in-house. Lisa has since been an invaluable guide as the school has considered this option.
Over the course of this academic year, St James’s has been successful in significantly expanding its extra-curricular offer. We now offer 100s of before and after school places across a range of clubs. After careful consideration, we have determined that it is right for the school to facilitate the wrap around care provision internally. We have been working closely with the Strawberry Hill Club team to plan the transition and we look forward to sustaining and building on the high standards of care that Strawberry Hill Club have provided to date. A thorough handover is in progress and Lisa has committed to providing support to the school on a consultancy basis in September.
Places will be reserved for those families already availing of a place at the Strawberry Hill Club. Lisa will shortly pass the details for these families, and those on the waiting list, to the school. Should you not want your details to be handed over, you should contact Lisa at Strawberry Hill Club directly.
