St James's Parent Volunteer Register

Dear Parents and Carers,

At St. James's, we deeply value the contributions and involvement of our parents and carers.

Your skills and knowledge are invaluable resources that can greatly benefit the advancement of our school community.

We invite all parents and carers to join the St. James's Parents Volunteer Register and help us make the most of your expertise. Whether you're passionate about supporting teaching and learning or you have skills in administrative tasks, there are various opportunities for you to get involved.

Please follow the link below to share your expertise and indicate how you would like to contribute.

We already have parents assisting us with marketing, administration, library tasks, and more, but we believe there are even more individuals out there who would be willing to lend a helping hand.

We would love your help in making St. James's an even better place for our students to learn and grow!

Please complete the St James's Parent Register, thank you for your ongoing support and involvement.

Warm regards,

Mr C. Beatty

Volunteering - a Closer Look

► At St. James’s the aim of our volunteer induction is to ensure all parent helpers and volunteers understand and share the vision, values and practices of the school.

All newly appointed helpers or staff will receive a programme of support and guidance appropriate to their role, ensuring all individuals:

  • Feel welcome and comfortable and integrate successfully into the school
  • Understand the importance of our mission statement and school values
  • Understand our expectations and are supported in meeting those expectations
  • Are able to contribute to improving the overall effectiveness of our school
  • Are able to meet the needs of the whole school community

► St James's is a Catholic school in which each individual grows in the knowledge and love of Christ. In partnership with parents and the whole community, our purpose is to provide a high standard of education, giving the maximum opportunity to realise each person’s potential.
