Home School Agreement
The Home–School Agreement at St James’s Catholic Primary School explains that by accepting a place at the school, parents, children, and the school agree to work together to support the child throughout their education. The agreement aims to build a positive partnership between home and school to help every child learn in a safe, happy, and supportive environment grounded in Catholic values. It sets expectations for good behaviour, respect, and a positive attitude to learning, while ensuring open communication about the child’s progress. Parents are expected to support their child’s learning by encouraging homework, attending meetings about progress, ensuring regular attendance and punctuality, providing correct uniform and healthy lunches, keeping contact details up to date, engaging with school communications, and working respectfully with the school to help their child do their best.
