2025 In-Year Admissions Tours: 

These tours are for parents who are contemplating applying for their child's in-year admission transfer, from their current school to St James's.

• We have two final tours this term, Friday 13th June and Friday 26th June at 9.30am.
• Please email the school with your request: info@st-james.richmonod.sch.uk and include your child's current school they attend and the year group that you are looking for (please include your mobile phone number).
• We advise a maximum of 2 adults per applicant - children are welcome to join but must be under the direct supervision of the accompanying adult. 
• We advise prospective Reception and Nursery September 2026 parents to come to the school's dedicated open mornings for these cohorts (see below).

2026 Reception September Open Morning:

This tour is a a dedicated open morning for prospective Reception 2026 September parents.

Wednesday 24th September at 9.30am:

• To register a place, please complete the google link (we advise a maximum of 2 adults per applicant): 
• For a child to be eligibile for a September 2026 Reception school place, they must have been born between 01.09.2021-31.08.2022.
• Please refer to Richmond's Achieving for Children portal for further information.  National admissions opens on 1st September 2025 and closes on 15th Jan 2026.

2026 Nursery September Open Morning:

A dedicated Open morning for prospective Nursery 2026 September parents will be held in February 2026.  An announcement will be made on the website in December for parents to sign-up to the tour.

2027 Reception and Nursery Tours:

We advise that for parents looking for 2027 September Reception or 2027 September Nursery places to wait and join our tours in  September 2026/February 2027, when the national application process opens.  This is because our tours are limited in terms of number and attendees and we want to ensure that 2026 parents are given priority.  

Additional Information for those attending our tours:

• Vehicles of non-residents, will not be permitted to access Stanley Road from 3^rd March 2025: Monday to Friday 8.00am to 9.00am and 2.00pm to 4.00pm, term time only. 
• Visitors are advised that if they want to park near the Stanley Road pedestrian gates, they park in pay and display bays in designated “non-school streets”. 
• We politely remind drivers to park their cars considerately and safely.
• Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the tour starts, so that you have ample time to sign in. 
• Unfortunately we will be unable to accommodate prams or buggies on the tour.
