Summer 2025 Extra-Curricular Clubs

 

Scopay will be open to take bookings on the 20th March, after, the go-live alert is posted on the communicator.  Please do not book club places before the alert as these will be cancelled and non-refundable.

 

Important Reminders:

  • Please do not book clubs before the official “go-live” alert, this will be posted on the parent St James’s communicator (D6), sometime between 4.45pm-5.15pm. Any early club bookings before the go-live alert, will be automatically cancelled.

 

  • Please ensure that you have paid all outstanding sums for any previous clubs/wraparound care in Scopay. You maybe prevented from booking summer clubs if there are outstanding monies owed for previous club or wraparound care sessions.

 

  • The full term’s cost of the club is required to secure a club place.

 

  • As per the brochure – there are no refunds on club bookings – so please only book those clubs your children can/want to attend.

 

  • Club spaces are booked 1st come – 1st served! Your child is not automatically allocated, reserved or prioritised a place at a club.

 

Who?

► Currently, we offer over +1,000 places are occupied in our school-run and external provider sessions each week. Hundreds of these places are offered free of charge! 

Thank you for encouraging your children to attend. Whilst we continue to implement our plans, the children have influenced the selection clubs on offer.  

What?

 

  • The booking for the spring term will be completed via the school’s payment tool Scopay for STJ clubs. Alternatively bookings for external clubs should be made with the provider directly.

 

  • You will be required to pay the full term’s cost in advance to secure the club place.

 

  • Refunds will not be provided, so please ensure that you only book clubs that your child can and wants to attend.

 

  • Should Scopay not allow you to book, this means a place is unavailable and you are encouraged to email clubs@ so you can be added to the waiting list. Please be patient as the clubs team will likely have a high volume of emails when the bookings open.

 

  • Please do not approach the coaches or members of staff directly about a place for your child on their club.

 

  • All questions about St James’s run clubs should be directed to the clubs@st-james.richmond.sch.uk.  Questions about external provider clubs should sent to the provider directly.

 

  • Collection from After School Club Sessions will be through the Year 3 and 4 playground doors unless indicated otherwise by the club supervisor. Please check the timetable section of the brochure for additional notes on pick up locations.

 

  • Collection from Afternoon School sessions must be by an adult (this includes Year 6 children who walk home from school).

 

  • Children should only attend a club if it’s for the full duration of the session. We will be unable to facilitate early pick-up from clubs and parents/carers are advised not send their child if they cannot stay for the full duration of the club.
